Meta's best new model is only sold through a coding plan that trains on your work by default
Meta released two new frontier models on 12th Oct'26. The standard Muse Wonder is on Meta's API at $4 per million input tokens and $20 per million output, and none of what you send is used for training. The stronger Muse Wonder Full, which independent testing at Artificial Analysis puts level with Claude Sonnet 5.5, is only available inside Meta's Muse Code subscription at $50 or $200 a month, and that subscription is set to let Meta train on your prompts and code unless you switch it off. Neither model has downloadable weights.
What it actually means
Meta has made the better model easy to get as a monthly plan, but that plan comes with a data deal most developers will accept without reading. If a contractor or a team member signs up to try it on client code, that code can end up in Meta's training data, and the opt-out only covers what is sent after the switch is turned off.
Before anyone in your team tries Wonder Full, decide whether client or company code may go through it, and if it may, turn off the training setting on day one. If you only want to test Meta against the model you already use, the API version is the cleaner route because it accepts OpenAI and Anthropic style tool calls and keeps your data out of training.
